Already know of the fancy lexicon in the voltaic hathery thanks to my spellblade. Not from a town vendor or similar) but I'd be happy to know it exists at least. If there is suggested gear I'd appreciate not spoiling its location if it's hidden (ie. I'd assume there is stuff that boosts the damage types I'm dealing while reducing mana.

Plus my spellsword is already doing blue for the armour and HP / Mana anyways.īonus question is gear. But I think the -10% stamina / mana costs from holy mission would also be useful. I thought maybe the blue just for the extra hp and mana. Totems look cool, but I don't think they'd mesh with the runes well? I even considered taking the spellblade breakthrough just to get some extra mana, while recovering the stamina and health lost to the leyline. Here I could take Philosopher, but I'd only be taking it for the Mana Regen breakthrough to help continuous casting. My spellblade felt pretty easy to plan for, Spellblade / Hermit / Monk. Not sure what other classes I'd benefit from. Would three be enough? I'd be looking at 100 mana that way with the passive at least, but I think runes cost 8 base mana, so I'm gonna need a lot of mana reduction to use magic as my main combat option if each spell is eating 16. How much is enough? I know the rune mage breakthrough is another 40, but how much should I get from the leyline if I want to use primarily spells for damage. Use the rune trap, shoot lightning from the little orb and fight in melee if needed with the rune blade. I want to try and do rune magic as my main focus of the build. So I'm still really new to the game, but after exploring for a while on my first character, who I play exclusively co-op with a friend, I'm looking to make a solo character.
